Something like that happened to me, when Ulduar patch was released. With my character, I entered Ulduar and then disconnect, and I can't log on my Character, so I tried alt then, and my alt was suddenly falling from the sky, and then I landed at the Frozen sea, I drowned myself, and then released and I was in the... Tirisfal Glades. What the hell was that!!? And my main, that was in ulduar, was found near the Ulduar entrance, when I logged next day on him. Weird.

At level 19 I queued up for a BG on an alt, and It called me in while I was on a moving boat. Once I got out of the BG I disconnected, then once I logged back on I was in the middle of Neatherstorm... at level 19...insta rape.

Yeah when faction changing and shit came out, I was going to gank in stormwind or something. anyway, I got off the boat and DC/d and when I got back I was like. stuck inside the harbor and crap, then when I could finally move I fell through like. Silithus and actually died in mid air. Then when I finally got back on my body was like laying in Un'Goro crater and I had to rez there. freaky shit.

Had this happen to me a while back. I was walking around in Durotar and suddenly fell through and ended up in the Hinterlands. I was wondering what happened.

I ended up falling off the edge of the world, rezed, and then fell out of the sky into Bloodhoof Village. Oddly enough, i suffered no fall damage. This was on my character Quidnick, just an alt, but cause of this glitch the toon became special to me. It is real, i just wished i was filming it. (From June 2009.)

lol this happened to me as well check out the end of my video "anthem" it contains scrrenshots of this same thing happening. I disconnected while on a zeppelin flight, and got sent into the maelstrom! It was a copy of Mulgore and there were plainstriders falling from the sky. I couldnt move normally, hitting w made me go up and down. I could see other players killing mobs IN THE AIR! My friends went to tb, which was 300 feet above me, stood im the location the map said i was in, to no avail.

this 'glitch' is actually really easy to do...u just gotta go to a certain 'glitchy' place get disconnected rlly fast nd log in rlly fast.

GMs cant see u in teh world so its safe to do anything =P

nd teh reason ur able to use a flyingmount in azeroth is cause ur actually in northrend with rlly screwed up graphics and the azeroth map...basicly a masked northrend

Yah, theres a weird system with the continents being stacked in some-odd manner in the game. So you fall through Howling Fjord, and land somewhere in EPL. Makes sense to me.

one of the better glitches, unlike the one where if you are auto-flying across NR and you die of fatigue and you end up in X roads....... and your body is in the middle of the ocean. Happens to me all the time.

There was a similar glitch when WOTLK was released.. The ship that is used to travel from Stormwind to Northrend had the same problem... you got disconected and you appear under Arathi or under dalarans crater xD

Yes this glitch has happened to me on live servers, you are in howling fjord but something happened to put u in epl, if you check you chat bar it says,joined channel howling fjord and if you /who yourself it will come up as howling fjord

Some1 can find you flying through walls in (Dalaran?) and report a wallhack. So, when your RAM goes low or you have client freezes (maybe errors), turn back.

It's a client bug. But I don't know why u are mounted. It's connected with the famous undercity glitch. But there are mobs from other map, and acherus isn't spawned. It looks like a private server 3.2.2 with db, maps & dbc from 1.12.1... The dbc can also be from 3.2.2 - acherus is a sanctuary. And this major zone Acherus: The Ebon Hold is contested, it looks like trinity core. Or in the server you are in another location than in a client. CDN

omg this happened to me too but kinda in a different way. I was on my 14 lock (luckily) and i took teh elevator down, but i guess i barely missed it b4 it was going down so i fell in a crack i guess...and i fell into an infinite void basicly and for the first 15 secs, everything on the map was falling; npcs, objects, and then Undercity itself. And teh dumb part was that since my char was technically moving (falling) i couldnt log out...but ya thats my story

Someone like that happened to me before like I was flying from Darnasus to Feralis or something and ended up dc'ing.

So when i relogged back on I was in Eastern Kingdom in an empty world and my map was bugged out and I was able to fly around and see weird glitches like that lol

i had a strange glitch happen to me once, i was soloing Strat hoping for the mount, i kill the1st boss u fight after using the back door, its dead, i kill a pack of mobs, then boom, i get the PvP achivement where u gotta get like 30k+ damage in one bg xD still got it up to this day xD

I've disconnected in Ulduar and Trial of the Crusader, quite a few times...and logged back on to falling through ground. I'll just keeping falling, and falling. And I'll see like a bunch of random Dalaran items/people. When I finally die, I try to release....and I end up in an alternate zone as a ghost as well. I'll end up seeing strange shit around, flying creatures, etc. According to my friends, I show up in the map in either Dalaran or SW. It takes like half hour to rez, again. Every time.WTF

I've had this happen to me in SW quite a few times. Get disconnected, log back in, i'm on a flipping weird glitched mountain, and my map say's i'm in Silithus. End up falling through the ground, and just keep on falling over and over again. Relog, fall once more, then end up in the Elwynn Graveyard, sometimes with durability damage. Quite fail. But interesting.
