WTF I though EMG pickups have a noise suppressor that keeps excess noise down. I just installed these JH and now my guitar is noisy as hell! If i'm adjusting the volume or flipping between treble and rhythm channels my guitar makes loud noises out the ass.

hey, I have a guitar that has EMGs, and when they we're installed, he put a cheap looking 9v battery for them and it didn't really sound that great. But now after a year, I finally bought a new 9v battery, a very good brand this time, and the tone was absolutely jaw dropping!! Could it be because the quality of the battery matters, or could it be because the earlier battery maybe had already been used a little?
