I do not understand your point. What the south did in trying to secede was a crime. In a democracy, the majority should rule in such matters as slavery and taxes. The southern elite knew that their economic system depended on slavery, and they did not like yankees dictating their state rights. Lincoln is considered one of the greatest presidents not because he was an abolitionist (which he wasn't), but because he managed to preserve the union despite overwheliming odds.

TV rules are more strict than radio rules. Cenk won't be able to do alot of the fun stuff on TV, and his manner of talking is really a venting of left sentiments.
