I think it's fair that you speculate about wether xerxes is telling the truth when he says that his whole team got revealed, but I think you're taking it to far about your conclusion concerning his intensions. Saying that he's deliberately manipulating his fanbase is a very strong statement, and it could be both right and wrong. Speculating about what happened is one thing, but I think everyone should thread carefully when speculating about others intensions without talking to them first.

@kverkern I made a brutish generalization there. Obviously I'm not saying Xerxes subscribers can't think for themselves because they're subbed to him. I said the majority of his subs (not necessarily you or me) haven't matured to a point where they can form their own opinion and will listen to anything this "famous" person tells them. It's not meant as an insult, I was trying to exemplify that Xerxes was using his status to his advantage.

Fair enough i can somewhat agree on that, though that goes for any popular youtuber/famous person.

Though it was a bad mistake from Scott revealing 2 of his team members, Xerxes should definitely talked to the guys involved instead of just believing whoever told him that his entire team was revealed. But oh well the drama will go over soon i hope and we can all enjoy and play pokemon for the fun of it.

Guess I'm old fashioned in my thinking that hacking into my game and giving myself perfectly stated Pokemon is cheating. It's messing with the game files and you get a slight advantage in battle and a huge advantage in the time it takes you to form a team and adapt to new enemy strategies.

If you don't want to bother with actually training up your Pokemon then go play using Pokemon Laboratory, all the battles you want without training up.

@Penguinator44 That's a perfectly valid way to think. But you also have to keep in mind that some people (namely, university students) don't have the kind of available time required to do that. To us, sav is a godsend since it allows us to jump in and enjoy the competitive game and not make a chore of it.

It's not necessarily a case of not bothering, but actually just a tool for us to still play and keep up with studies.

i do like xerxes but a lot of things he said was unneeded and by combining the video with his first team reveal was a clear sign of him trying to win people over. if he had just made a rant video on its own then it would of started more arguments, overall he did try to manipulate his fan base through a somewhat 'hour long special' where he talked about his life.

That said, this is all blown out of proportion. You and I both know Scott didn't reveal anything as a sign of disrespect to his wishes (and I know Scott feels bad about it). If anything, he said soemthing by accident because we're talking about Xerxes! How do you NOT talk about that match with your closest friends?

I just wish Xerxes would sit down and realize that the actions shouldn't be seen as a sign of disrespect. I think it's a sign of reverance for who he is and what he represents

As for Xerxes, I think this series just meant a lot more to him than just a battle. It's him closing a chapter in his life and passing the torch to others. When people comment on his vid saying "it's just a game" they miss the point he was making. Pokes isn't just a game to him, it's part of who he has been and what he now strives to be.

I think he just feels disrespected since they couldn't keep his team secret. After 4 years on youtube, I think he just feels entitled to that respect. cont.

It was still a blast though. I totally brought a Pachirisu for fun. It's such a shame Scott is such a good player. My only goal was to pick up a kill using him

I recommend you dont form an opinion and completely avoid drama on the internet all together. I havent been following the pokemon community that long but I do follow the cod community and everything just seemed better when it started. Xerxes is reminiscing about how it was before sav and I think people should just forget about it. Its a game, get over it.

And you have Xerxes team, and the only big narratior I have seen on his team so far is Xenon... So i really hope that this guys can talk about what happend to each other, and become friends.
