  • My biggest problem is using a cheese substitute. My father went Vegan. Is there a faux cheese I can use, or should I just skip that altogether. Cheese for me, is no problem.

  • You need to explain the part where you put the soup in the oven in more depth. Are you setting a temperature or broiling it for 5 minutes to get the cheese melted the right way?

  • im trying this instead of real butter im substituting it for i cant believe its not butter since im on a diet. and im using low fat cheese they didnt have mushroom stock at the store so i swapped it with veggie stock but i hope it all comes out good :)

  • mmmm....just made some of this (i used a splash of white wine and vinegar since thats all i had) but it turned out DELICIOUS!!! never thought of adding flour, but i added just a few pinches...not sure what that does for it, but anyway!

    French Onion Soup! one of the few dishes that i think has a wonderful aftertaste as well as an AMAZING first taste! =)
