Whatever rep range works for you. Mark's program prescribes 3 sets of 5 reps, but if you are incorporating the press into your own program you can change it as you see fit. However, you are NOT supposed to use your legs. That is the Push Press, Mark is demonstrating the Press, so do not use your legs. Good luck.
i dont see nothing wrong with using your legs to initially get the weight up on the first rep and to bang out extra reps at the end. Once you start using your feet it becomes a push press pretty much
It feels impossible not to use ur legs at first but im getting used to it now and the weights are going up. I do some push press after as a supplementary exercise.

ok gonna try 3 sets of 5 then. is that using the same weight or pyramiding up?
I find it hard not to use my legs but trying to lock my knees out . felt a bit better this week so will keep trying it.
