I agree with him but to me many black people drop the ball when they refuse to get higher education and and act in ways that will elevate and not destroy their own communities. Drug use, violence, criminality, promiscuous sex, all these things can be curtailed with making proper choices Being better parents and taking responsibility for your kids. Waiting to have kids until you are in a better economic position to have them, these are things within the sphere of our control.

Mr. Amos Wilson is correct about most things but someone must build on his work and correct the erroneous suggestion that so called "black men and women" were brought here from "Africa" in great numbers. So called "Blacks" were already here. America was once a vast "black empire." The devils lie about the history and suggest completely nonsensical theories. I am not alone on this viewpoint. Many lecture can be found here in youtube regarding the "slavery myth."
