In the West, people are allowed to make fun of religion all the time, on t.v. and in film, in poetry (which includes music), in comic strips, on clothing, etc. There are religious people who do get angry over these things, but odds are in favor that they won't kill you over it. The Danish cartoons of Muhammad were a non-issue until people in the Mideast got a hold of them, and they started throwing temper tantrum riots and a bunch of people died as a result.
