I dont really like this performance very much... he doesn't seem to stick with the melody of the original song, which was perfect to start with. Deviation from it just seems to weaken the flow and cause the listener to become distracted. It's like trying to listen to a symphony with one bad violinist, the song might be good, but there's still that annoying sound tweaking in and out of the music.

Wow! Just like Paula said about this performance. Clay's voice is brilliant! He makes every word of this song believable. He sings it with such conviction. I'm so glad he made it to the finale. That way, we have an entire season of knock-out performances. Every performance is better than the one before. God blessed this young man with a beautiful voice and He blessed us when He showcased him on Idol. His music brings continues joy into my life. Love his new album.
