  • Ukraine - the largest country in Europe.

In Ukraine, lived most intelligent and kind people in the world.

Ukrainian language is the second in the world after the Italian for beauty of sound.

Europe scared to take Ukraine into the EU due to strong competition. Glory to Ukraine!

    Donetsk glory!

Wery impressive explication.I'm ukrainian and I live in Kiev for 11 years. I've travelled for over Ukraine and I've seen a lot for compare with Europe. I've been in France, Germany, Hungary, Poland and u know we have nice country dispite of our stupid politiks.Espessially I want admit our nation specialities... for me it's hard to explane what I meen(problem not in my English) u need to feel to understand. So, before u want to say something first of all think about what you gona say

  • молчу....молчу

  • good luck with the new stadium, which bytheway is looking amazing!

  • @hgykyggbhy I think that you are living in a country full of racist ignorant bitches,DICKHEAD!!!

  • god the presenter is so serious!

  • @dimitri23o Yes I wish you good luck on that. All I want is that Romania and Ukraine become friends and that we help each other. Yes we kicked your ass in the ICJ Serpent Island Case, but you can't afford to have this anti Romanian mood shit that goes on in Ukraine. Romania is advocating for Ukraine to join the EU, we will help you. I just want us to have good relations.

  • @AncutaMerkel ukraine should not join the eu at all. we must stick by russia, closest to us in history, culture and spirit.

  • Wow this stadium is really beautiful , I would rather that the finals of Euro 2012 took place in Donbass rather than Kiev , well i guess 50k is not enough but i like this stadium more than kiev olympic .

However can someone tell me why Donbass Arena cost soo much too build?

  • It's enought for stadium without the racecourse, so is Donbass-Arena!!!

It's coasts so much because at first all the newest IT and others technologies are provided there, there no stadiums in Europe with such great view of the field even on the toppest seats and the modern park is built arround, that costs a lot (400 kkk = Arena+Park)

  • lol !!! pretty!!

  • they're sure will be a fantastic night when the mighty whites rip that trophy out of their hands.

  • To: Fatboyblitz

Only pompous and narrowminded ppl can say such words about other countries!!

At firs-look at yourself and than throw stones at others!!!!

  • from Fatboyblitz profile"I was born the European Union but I am also a Canadian through my mom I am living in Italy. Im of Italian, Canadian and Australian ancestry."

NOBODY CARES gain a few IQ points superficial kid than you can talk

fyi genius, UEFA cup has nothing to do with Ukraine Ukraine is a great nation and will only continue to improve. Learn before you speak

  • 5-star rating doesn't mean it can host a Champion's League final...

A stadium needs to have at least a 5-star rating and minimum 65-70k+ seats.

    Someone slap this fool..

    Still a nice stadium. :)

  • Actually you need minimum 30,000 to host CL final, but no stadium under 60,000 has so far been selected since the criteria rules were introduced in 2006. However UEFA officials have said numerous of times that Donbass Arena is more than capable of hosting such a large event as the CL final since it rates in the UEFA Elite Stadium category. There only a handful of stadiums in Europe that have that rating. This arena should host CL final, but we have to wait until Donetsk infrastructure improves.

  • After the 2007 CL Final, Platini himself said in that no stadium under 60k seats should be allowed to host CL final. But I can see this stadium hosting a Europa League Final soon.

  • BOOOOOOOOO!!, You Whore...

  • you mad cause beyonces the reason that youre fav has flopped. im terribly sorry

  • One more step of bringing Ukraine out of the Dark Ages of Soviet Empire.

    GOOD JOB keep it up

  • I don't get this vid some1 tell em what its about lol

  • what would this expenditure help ukraine at? just deepen it in debts, getting away from Euro 2012 at the same time.

  • you need quality stadiums to host Euro 2012 in the firts place,

FYI this stadium is payed for by private capital has nothing to do with national debt

  • Very interesting that Akhmetov spoke in Russian. Just a sign that he is not an Ukrainian Nationalist.

  • Yes he did but

fyi eastern Ukraine is populated mostly by Ukrainians but most people in Eastern Ukraine speek Russian,

Thank "Mother Russia" for that one

  • Comment removed

  • @Mr99Burns so what since when is bilingualism a bad thing, and access to two cultures a bad thing? i speak both russian and ukrainian and i think it is very beneficial for a person's development to be able to see the world and communicate with the world in multiple ways, through several cultures. keeps one's mind a bit more open and prevents idiotic "nationalism", along with racism and nazism (if you know about this shameful, shameful situation of nazi support in certain parts ukraine)

  • @kuzcat If you aware of the cultural situation in Ukraine you should know this. There is only one language being spoken in the 95% of east and south of Ukraine and that's Russian. Even western Ukraine is russified. Western Ukraine is the heart of Ukrainian culture always will be hopefully the rest of Ukraine will catch up. As far as nazis in Ukraine, that's the bigest misnomer about Ukraine. Don't bring up Bandera Nazis put him in a consentration camp, there is probably more suport for stalin.

  • LOOOL

  • beyonce :s?

  • yes BEYONCÉ!

  • Achmetov spoke in the mother tongue of 96% of the residents of Donetsk - Russian. The stadium is real and it's nice. Economics in Ukraine are as crazy as our politics, but it is nice to see people begin taking pride in their country once again. Many in Ukraine believe the IMF money is going into politician's pockets, so we don't mind if they spend some of it a stadium. This stadium has been a boost to the morale of a people who have been beaten down by their pols for years.

  • Did Akhmetov spoke in Russian or in Ukrainian?

  • He spoke in Russian

  • Russian

  • A lot of money for something which doesn´t produce a single euro. Just a political investment to keep Donetsk quiet...but the truth is that the economy in Ukraine is falling 12% and that stadium is just propaganda.

  • FYI Football is a business and brings in capital,

EURO 2012 is an opportunity to bring in major capital into the country, Ukraine needs quality stadiums to host it.

  • @trokoro it gave people jobs during both construction and running of the place.

  • Glad to see that $18.5 billion IMF bailout money is being spent on the "important things".

  • @seseljsrs im pretty sure akhmetov financed the stadium...

  • Lets get it straight. Ukraine is broke and begs for money. Two mafia clans fight against each other. People struggle to pay daily necessities and warm themselves up during winter. Whole state is on the verge of collapse. And assholes open $400 mil arena to pretend full integration into US/ EU lalaland. What a joke...

  • lmao Beyonce??

    Cheap eye candy.

  • hardly.

one of the most sought after stars of your generation!

  • Bravo, Rinat and congratulations, Donetzk!

I liked how Donetzk people booed on Ushenko)
