Actually, card counting is not illegal. It's just that most people are killed, or for "some reason" they don't like that casino any more. The reason why is that most casinos are ran by mobs or something else of the sort. It all depends on how many settlements they lose because of you.

wikipedia it, they have it on there. i got a book awhile ago, but the whole thing is pointless, because all casinos use continuous shuffle machines now... which makes counting irrelevent. if you find a casino that doesnt use those lemme know cause im going there for sure!!

Good thing Ed Thorp didn't play blackjack unprepared! In my opinion, no one should risk money "gambling" unless there is no house edge or if you have a mathematically proven system that WORKS! Playing with a negative expectation or risking money you can't afford to lose is WRONG!

@neb503 yeah it's not their fault it's a game not really suitable for casinos, because skill is involved. casinos should only have games which are guaranteed to steal the customer's money away slowly but surely.

Yes in actuality the thieves are the casinos. They always come out on top and even stack the games so that they are guaranteed money, maybe not from individuals but 'in the long run'. Then they ban those that contradict their games to give themselves the advantage, whether it be cheaters or counters. No, counters are actually the Robin Hoods of this scheme. The players are the underdogs.
