the movie was garbage..... absolutely terrible, they didnt use deep phocus photography for all their shots, which is a big problem for a 3d movie. The deaths were all impossible, and therefore not scary, and were all a result of gross negligence of workplace safety and health regulation.

I give it a 2.5 out of 10. I can see why you didnt go beyond the trailer on that one.

just saw the movie, and writing a review..

in 3D, there were some really neat parts. But, at times it was not as good, it didn't look 3D.

BUT, I would say, it is worth watching it in 3D. There were some awesome parts that really stood out, 'in your face'.

Now to the movie. It was really good. I was surprised at how nicely it flowed. Usually when someone has a 'vision' its usually a complex movie, you dont know if its happening or not. This was really easy to understand.

The reason....

the reason.. well, some parts that were CGI, which is most of the movie, but some of the parts, expecially the death scenes, well, I have to say they were poor. You didnt see it much as it was on screen for a short period, for a good reason.

Even so, the parts were too much, it was just not that good CGI. I mean, going more realistic would be very hard, but, you know what I mean.. right?

the CGI, I would say was a 5.5/10

3D, not bad 8.5/10

Overall, I would say the movie was very good. 8/10.

Part 2 of my review

It was watchable. The positives about this movie was that the acting was watchable, the 3-D was awesome, and there were some pretty good new deaths. The negative things were that the deaths looked way to cheesy, the gore was way to much like a comic book, and the stuff that happened would never happen in real life. The huge thing that made me rate this a 8 instead of a 9 or a 10 is that they ended this movie way to fast and rushed. Overall I would recommend this movie.

I just got home from seeing The Final Destination, IT WAS AWESOME!!! But most of it was filmed in New Orleans (where I live) and the salon/mini-park scene was filmed about 5 blocks away from me, also the pool scene made me sick a my stomach from the effects but then I remembered that I've swam in the same pool! It was awesome but it feels really weird now seeing what can happen by my house.
