He tweeted That His next ablum is "coming sooner than you think" and that the Next album with have TONS of guitar shredding on it. He also apolagized to us guitar gos John Mayer fans about not having alot of shreding on it. Personally im a fan of BOTH his Pop AND his Blues-Rock stuff but i perfer his amazing guitar playing skills over his pop stuff anyday

This is John Mayer, this is not John Mayer Trio, they are separate entities. Most of this (although still amazing) will sell to more of a crowd than Trio will. Trio is incredibly amazing, but not appreciated by as many people as this will. I don't know if I made any sense or not, but thats just what I think...

War of my life..I remember the video of him driving into the sunset trying to come up with ideas for this songs. It reminds me of split screen sadness. War of my life is a chick song. Same goes for edge of desire, do you know me and friends, lovers or nothing. Crap just pure crap! Remember the video where he was jammin with steve jordan and John was doing that little guitar riff and Steve was on only one drum and a snare? What happened to that song? WTF. John has gone mental.

Yes I have seen him play these songs. His singing live..sucks...but his guitar playing live is way better than this crap. Now let's review the album. All we ever do is say goodbye is a little Beatlesque and a little slow but ok. Half of my heart..well the song could have been arranged differently. I prefer the demo of it that he did on his site. Asassin..is pure musical genius!! Heartbreak warfare sucks. Who says sucks. Crossroads is an album filler and should have been on a cream tribute cd

I couldn't agree more. The solo he did Live was way better. This Album seems like he's trying to get his chick fans back because he lost them when he grew out his hair, then shaved his head, then played Panama live, and made the rolling stone cover and was still obsessed with SRV. But know he's back to his pop faggy crap.
