However I also take a good dose of oxy,,40 to 70mg a couple times a month,catch a euphoric high,(clean the whole house )

A study was done in Glasgow a place in Scotland that has a massive Heroin problem. A mobile unit was driven round the estates at certain times each day and registered users were given diamorphine and help to inject if required. The crime rate reduced by 30% almost immediately, unfortunately for the study to continue 3 doctors needed to sign off on it, and 1 of the doctors would not continue with the program on moral grounds. Go figure

Drugs come in waves of availability unless you're in a big city, then it's usually available in types. If someone is detoxing from heroin you've got Suboxine and methadone that they can sell. I guess if it's UK then diamorphine's prescribed, but that doesn't mean it isn't easy to buy..as easy as beer if you've got connections

There is also functioning heroin addicts and non-functioning..same as any drugs even pot. Some people it helps, and some people spiral out of control; I don't believe that the drug war is working by any means.

I have heard that nicotine is more addictive than heroin (but i seriously doubt it) and that 75% of smokers have trouble quitting versus 15% that can use whenever they like so that would be 75 % of 20% which is 15%. BUT, like heroin, nicotine is relatively benign and is not very hazardous to health, the harms come from these drugs comes form the delivery system (smoke, dirty needles)

@Jorgen297 by comparison according to CDC only about 1 out 50 high school seniors (2%) use heroin and about 30% say it is easily obtainable for them. to give you some idea of demand for the drug. perhaps if heroin were to become legal, maybe they'd be more likly to assume its acceptable and use would rise, but given that its already somewhat easy to obtain, i feel young people r more interested in other illicit substances.i dont think ne1 can say for sure just how many would use

edbooboo45 the reason i had to use it in the first place is that i got no help from doctors. i smashed my back pretty well, and the first help i got with the pain is what i said above. they wouldn't even give me panadiene forte or anything. i got through the original break without any pain killers, but after a few months an old whiplash injury came on as well and i needed help

She means that all/most of her major surface veins have collapsed due to tar heroin use (it's called vein sclerosis or on the street they just say they blew a vein, usually - though a little incorrect). i know this i been hooked on crack for 13 years and opiates for 11 and yes heroin is cheaper than oxy but oxy last so much longer (the high) and personaly i prefer oxy all day i was up to 6 80's a day but then i wen to rehab and detox got on suboxone and it realy works if you let it i have relasped two times in year and a half but i stay strong and keep my head out the clouds
Something I don't understand; I was an alcoholic for 25 yrs and I was addicted to coke for about 10 yrs. I had plenty of opportunity to try heroin, but I knew the power of the addiction and stayed away from it, same with meth. When I finally had enough of MY addictions it was fairly easy to quit. Heroin is another story, why do people do this drug KNOWING how powerful the addiction can be? It always scared me enough to never touch it, despite [or because of?]seeing friends doing it all the time.
It's about a society that is an environment where many people seek escape from. Doesn't matter what the means...food, opiates, speed, alcohol, shopping, hoarding, ocd rituals, sex...all have the same root in psychology. It is time that we re-examine this...and accept that we have to rebuild our society to suit us...not force us into a social mould that is clearly not fulfilling our needs.

Everytime there's a major dope confiscation (yeah, it becomes State property, wich is dumb) it disrupts the area balance between users/sellers. Suddenly, there's a shortage of the product, users become nervous and will buy anything available, prices go up, crime rises because of that... and so on. Fighting drugs is actually what causes the damage, as starnge as it may seem.
There really is no "War on drugs"... it's a war on SOME drugs. Why isn't the government going after alcohol and tobacco? because they need the alcohol/tobacco companies to survive and fund the campaign ads, etc.

A study was done in Glasgow a place in Scotland that has a massive Heroin problem. A mobile unit was driven round the estates at certain times each day and registered users were given diamorphine and help to inject if required. The crime rate reduced by 30% almost immediately, unfortunately for the study to continue 3 doctors needed to sign off on it, and 1 of the doctors would not continue with the program on moral grounds. Drugs come in waves of availability unless you're in a big city, then it's usually available in types. If someone is detoxing from heroin you've got Suboxine and methadone that they can sell. I guess if it's UK then diamorphine's prescribed, but that doesn't mean it isn't easy to buy..as easy as beer if you've got connections

I have heard that nicotine is more addictive than heroin (but i seriously doubt it) and that 75% of smokers have trouble quitting versus 15% that can use whenever they like so that would be 75 % of 20% which is 15%. BUT, like heroin, nicotine is relatively benign and is not very hazardous to health, the harms come from these drugs comes form the delivery system (smoke, dirty needles)

@Jorgen297 by comparison according to CDC only about 1 out 50 high school seniors (2%) use heroin and about 30% say it is easily obtainable for them. to give you some idea of demand for the drug. perhaps if heroin were to become legal, maybe they'd be more likly to assume its acceptable and use would rise, but given that its already somewhat easy to obtain, i feel young people r more interested in other illicit substances.i dont think ne1 can say for sure just how many would use

One of my employees successfully sued me for £100k+ after claiming he’d suffered “crippling loss of self-esteem” due to my comments.

edbooboo45 the reason i had to use it in the first place is that i got no help from doctors. i smashed my back pretty well, and the first help i got with the pain is what i said above. they wouldn't even give me panadiene forte or anything. i got through the original break without any pain killers, but after a few months an old whiplash injury came on as well and i needed help

She means that all/most of her major surface veins have collapsed due to tar heroin use (it's called vein sclerosis or on the street they just say they blew a vein, usually - though a little incorrect). It makes blood draws and IV near impossible, short of a picc line. I know, I have it, too. Been clean for many years now, but it still persists- my own fault yet it still sucks!

i,ve used since 93 ,and have my life togeather ,i,m on a meth programme for years but dont do both ,if i use =no meth otherwise you are making life extremely difficult for yourself and meth dosent fill then the void ,mostly i believe the most important thing that has aided me through my many long years of use is the fact i never have used a needle ,chasing the dragon always did it for me -these past years i grow my garden full of poppy and a nice O supply through the autumn/winter,see my vids

i know this i been hooked on crack for 13 years and opiates for 11 and yes heroin is cheaper than oxy but oxy last so much longer (the high) and personaly i prefer oxy all day i was up to 6 80's a day but then i wen to rehab and detox got on suboxone and it realy works if you let it i have relasped two times in year and a half but i stay strong and keep my head out the clouds

Something I don't understand; I was an alcoholic for 25 yrs and I was addicted to coke for about 10 yrs. I had plenty of opportunity to try heroin, but I knew the power of the addiction and stayed away from it, same with meth. When I finally had enough of MY addictions it was fairly easy to quit. Heroin is another story, why do people do this drug KNOWING how powerful the addiction can be? It always scared me enough to never touch it, despite [or because of?]seeing friends doing it all the time.

Everytime there's a major dope confiscation (yeah, it becomes State property, wich is dumb) it disrupts the area balance between users/sellers. Suddenly, there's a shortage of the product, users become nervous and will buy anything available, prices go up, crime rises because of that... and so on. Fighting drugs is actually what causes the damage, as starnge as it may seem.

This is clearly a PROPAGANDA documentary NOT AN EDUCATIONAL doc.
These type of docs are the reasons kids dont trust authority figures.

The way to get that 1st high feeling is to space out the time between usage!! People can use and abuse anything they wish, they just need some fucking self control.
