I have to admit, the yarn color you're using is a bit light, so it's at times hard to catch what you're doing with the needle. This is particularly apparent right before the first set of five DCs on the newly created bridge. However... That said, this is a magnificent tutorial and I love how you made sure to include what the other videos were lacking! I can't wait to make a skirt with this stitch! Thank you for making such a nice tutorial~!
For the 2nd half of the 1st croc stitch are you putting them into the gap or a v stitch?..cuz when i did it it just looked like I had a normal row of 10 dc. :/
you're like "1,2,3,4,5,6,7..." and i'm like "oooonnneeeee.....twooooooo.....threeeee...." :) but I'll get the hang of it, event it's the last thing I do:)
Awesome tutorial!! I love the stitch! I keep having a little difficulty at the end of each row...but I'm sure I will get the hang of it eventually! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Hi there. I like ur tutorial alittle better than Teresa's (aka tjw1963). If u haven't seen her video on this stitch, u should check it out n lwt me know what u think about her technique. She is very talented and I love all her videos.
Too much starting and stopping in this video. She gets about 10 words out then video pauses for about 30 seconds, then a few more words then another pause. Got tired of waiting and turned it off.
Love this demo, I found it much easier than others I had seen online. Jennifer you are a great teacher. I love that you told us right up front that you need increments of three. Your version of the base/net rows are the easiest to follow and makes a perfect and flat finished product. I was having trouble with someone else's version that didn't give reasons for the stitches, yours is super easy. Thanks so much for the demo. I will recommend yours to friends.
Hey Jennifer....let me start with, I am not a knitter or crocheter, but I have managed to do this and do it bloody well.......well after a couple of trials before I started on a good one. I found a tutorial on Etsy for some fingerless gloves, bought it and realised it was clearly written in 'crochet language' and not being fluent, I was stuffed. I am a visual learner and you rock. I am going looking to see what other videos you have!!! YOU ARE A LEGEND!!!
Thank you so much for putting this together as I would have not have figured this stitch out without your help!!!!
