Ive been there a few times too,theres a few places along the cliff path where you can do that trick where theres a ledge just out of camera shot.I really hope The Cliffs get voted as one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World.
Been to the Cliffs many times - this looks like it's from the north side near O'Brien's tower - does not look real... but as for the posters who say there is a "ledge" there, I can assure you there is not. I think he is just jumping behind a small hill. On the south cliffs people walk past the end of the "offical" area and a path goes right along the ledge for a long way...
There's a story (myth?) that a Japanese woman went to the cliffs one Winter with the express purpose of throwing herself off. She had read that they were the tallest in Europe. Story goes that wind was so strong she was blown back . Anyone know if it's true? Joe from Galway
It is, pretty ridiculous really, no real barriers to stop people walking to the ledge and the Atlantic wind can be really strong that it can take you right off. Pretty morbid as well, there's signs posted everywhere for suicide hotlines.

I went there in 2005. I remember seeing a railing there but there was an opening down the hill from the tower.
