One of my favourite songs ever.
In fact, farfisa organ can be heard also on NAiHF version, but due to different mix a lot quieter and probably only with good headphones.
On DVD with remastered album in 5.1 sound organ can be heard better.

There are loads of great R.E.M. songs but there's something about Binky the doormat that I really love (e.g. The recurring refrain of 'Go away'). It's very playfully dark and, just like The Wake Up Bomb, it's strongly hints at being cut from the same kind of cloth as the Monster album (the whole album was recorded on the Monster tour).

This full bootleg video is one of the better from the Monster tour!
Also always nice to be reminded of how much better Binky was live than on NAIHF. The organ was sadly missed on the album version...
