Dogs are smart, when I play with my dog like this, if I don't make any effort she will gently put the toy in my hand waiting for me to pull it, if I grab the toy with strength, then she will "nearly dislocate my shoulder" too :)

This is my fourth "Linus the Boxer" video and I'm hooked!! What a lucky baby and dog to have such wonderful parents...they both look so happy and well-adjusted, we have a dachshund we adore but I've always been really fond of boxers as well! Such a sweetheart! This sweet little girl is growing up with some amazing experiences most babies aren't lucky enough to have!

Your other videos are fine but if the dog is pulling hard enough to pull the baby onto her face he could have possibly damaged her fingers. Join injuries when you are that young can stunt your growth or even cause chronic issues. I understand not wanting your kid to live in a bubble but that is an actual risk that doesn't need to be taken.

Pets are still part of the family even when they stay outside, that is where they belong outside in a kennel. They can stay inside the house a few hours or so, and to have pet hair all over the place is a no go zone. A pet isn't any less of a family if he stays outside.

When I was babysiting I let the dog in and they had a fit. I had never heard of people not letting their dogs inside with the rest of the family before that.
