man i've always loved the ace combat story lines they're so rich and really make you feel like your really fighting for the cause of that country and the charecter's such as your wingmen it makes you want to play even more as learn about them

Im actually really happy they changed AC as much as they did... Only thing I miss is the buy/sell feature... Had enough of shooting targets from miles away, and the endless furball of doom... Not that I didnt like those, but this feels fresh rather than copy/pasted mechanics with a new cover.

@Shurryy I wish they could let us play music and watch cut scenes over and over again and the chance to have furballs to extant I think the DFM mode was a little clunky glad that it has gotten harder yes but still some targets are to annoying to kill try fighting Markov in an F-4E on elite not pretty....

@kostoliz Not sure, but you can unlock squadron names like Galm, Wardog and Garuda. And what's awesome is the radio chatter actuall calls you by your title.

@pivotanimator31 Not to mention if we believe cannon then Nagise is the greatest liar of all time being she was a pilot before AC5 which is why in AC5 she was such a natural pilot (of course if you joined another airforce you're going to be a recruit/trainee) and if this all follows through then maybe NATO recuited her, I think they should just admit cannon and create some DLC or something that has her as the character.

The Strangereal universe of the previous AC games is sci-fi, so it could serve as a plot point in that, but Assault Horizon is intended to be set in something resembling our real world, and I dunno about you, but I haven't met any dimension-hoppers.

Anyone else keep noticing Nagise? I mean pretty much in every briefing she was in the right bottom corner of the room and I swear one of the random pilots in Miami had her voice but I could be mistaken on that bit.

The most annoying part is that AC5 was set in 2010 and even the fictional settings of Ace Combat had ISAF which is a branch now of NATO so there's nothing to say that it couldn't be canon, I think the general consensus is we want her in the game, maybe as a DLC mission.
