I kind of doubt it. In strength and such they're about equal, but Spawn's magical powers vastly outclass Ghost Rider's, but the real problem is is Ghost Rider's Penance Stare.

It basically forces the user to experience the same amount of pain and suffering they've ever caused over their lifetime. So if they've murdered, they feel like they've been murdered.

Spawn, both as Spawn AND Al Simmons has killed a SHITLOAD of people.

It doesn't matter how much stronger Spawn is because of this.

Spawn does indeed have a soul. He's undead because Malebolgia saw his expertise in battle, and wanted him on the side of hell, and therefore granted him twisted unlife. His soul was twisted, and broken yes, but he still had one. It is in fact a major plot point in the later comics: the current state of Al Simmon's soul, which they discover is in fact part of Spawn, and not a separate being from him entirely, which is what Spawn had begun to suspect. So yes, Spawn has a soul.

The comics have been out for a while now, and it would be weird if after all these years she still doesn't know that AL is alive(sort of)and what the "hell" hes been through.......for her.
