It's a very sucessful comedy show, well known for it's satirising of a huge range of subjects. They take the piss out of her views. It's got nothing to do with "being out of touch" or "gov. funded BBC". @inoexist What I mean is the BBC own the rights to your television signal receiver, not the monitor. You can unhook the aerial which means you won't (obviously) be able to watch any T.V at all. So the issue here is one should be able to pick which channels is paid for instead of having all free-to-view channels or none, regardless of whether you watch the BBC or not.
