i hate chad! he and kevin have very little chemistry. i think it's mainly that jason lewis (the guy who plays chad) can't act or at least portray a gay character. i never really bought into his character, his love for kevin, his struggle of coming out and the whole storyline. it all looks like acting to me (and ironically he plays an actor in the series, a bad one obviously)! he's just not convincing as a closeted gay to me. i'm glad their relationship didn't sustain.

Then they had sex on Valentine's Day when Kevin was dating Chad (Scotty didn't know.) Kevin broke up with Chad and eventually met Jason at the end of season 1. They dated over the summer and Jason left for Malaysia on the first episode of season 2. Scotty comes back, he tries to be friends with Kevin. They end up sleeping together.

It's pretty funny that the Chad charactor supposed to be a hot, dreamy gay guy but he looks nothing comparing to Kevin and Scotty. Chad is also pretty annoying in a sterotype gay way. The actor who played scotty did such a good job to make his role convincing and likeable.
