Man, you are amaaaaaaazing on the pipes! I am looking to start playing, and want to probably start with a half set...this is inspiring and amazing! Thanks for sharing. Wonderful phrasing and rhythm. Does a half set limit you a lot, or is there a lot you can do on it still?
Sounds really nice! I'm playing tin whistle and the Fraher's Jig is on my MonylT(Mountain of not yet learned tunes). It is in pace and everything, but maybe you could accentuate the rythm some more. Like: da-DAM-didadadiDAMdidadadiDAMdidadadiDAMdada. Replace just some of the crans with simple notes. Else it sounds a bit mechanical. But still very nice!
Lovely piping; I've been playing for several years myself. Your pace is lovely, tune selection can't be beat, and your phrasing is very nice. Keep up the good work!
Wonderful job mate. As has been said, you've got a clean style developing. I enjoy the sound of your instrument, and started myself on one of David Daye's penny chanters a few years back (I read you have some if his drones). Another comment, something of importance, I think, is that you've got solid rhythm, which, if you ever play for a set dance, is going to be really handy!
This is great. You are going to be one of the best pipers soon, Philipp, IMHO. I especially love the very clean and precisely performed playing. The rythm is perfect, the speed is musical. Your instrument is perfectly tuned and has powerful sound. Congratulations.
Gj man, is it hard going over from practice set to half? Have you started whit ful set?

Why, why, why?!? Why is it? Why is it that pipers always play in the kitchen? LOL.
