It takes years, it took him about 8-9 years including 4-5 years of learning.

And it takes more than money to be rich.

Do what he says, increase your financial education,

@sueyking Rich Dad, Poor Dad was never intended to be a how to. Rather, it was intended to open up the eyes of its readers to a new, more prosperous way of thinking. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer because the poor continue to approach life with a lack mentality.

In his follow up to RD/PD, Kiyosaki focuses on those that read RD/PD and used it as inspiration to take action. No one is going to hold your hand until you are successful but, some will point you in the right direction :)
