Vegas Pro 9 here, and I'm a little surprised that my outdated computer can run it. Pretty much every upgrade from 8 is a high-definition thing, which my computer can't handle.
I've never used Vegas - but I know some people who do and they say it is very good software. I just like how the Magix works and I've tried some other stuff- but I keep coming back to Magix.
Anyone who has a background in Flash animation will instantly find similarities working with Vegas, like the Motion Tween editor where you edit where something moves by using keyframes. I can't set up a green screen without using sort of a GIMP animation cheat, though, as there's no space to set one up.
ah, dang. I asked canadianstudmuffin if he wanted to help in a video and has not responed back... i have rebuild my lovely channel because of stupid works social media policy. I am cann't be in front of the camera but I love making vids. So, hence why i am bugging people for colberation vids. :)

Yup- magix has tons of fun vocal effects!! And it works with a lot more formats of video than most programs!!!

Green Screen and Chroma Keying is very easy on Magix! It's a one button option that needs very little tweeking!
