Yes, definetly a GP38-2, notice a shorter radiator section, 2 fans above the radiators and 2 exhaust outlets (you will notice when it was first fired up 2 distince plumes of smoke). A turbocharged EMD has a distinct sound too of the turbocharger which you dont hear as well. 2000HP too, not 3000.

This is a GP38-2, not a GP40. It only has two radiator fans at the rear of the engine, and the prime mover is Roots Blown. Nice vid.
