It is just a dictionnery attack it will not work on any password that contains symbols , numbers , capital letters etc. A pass like ;fW.{^q needs hundrets of hard drives , pcs and the Highlander himself to be founded

i'm not sure if anyones still looking at this but i'm stuck. when i enter "bkhive /tmp/system key" it says the hive file can't be found. along the lines of that.I need help.And sorry for the noobish stuff i'm askin. I'm new to this.

Did you copy the 'system' file right?

To copy the file on an XP-machine: "# cp /mnt/*/WINDOWS/system32/config­/system /**"
