  • so thats great and all how it doesn't go out... but then how do you put it out?

  • Thanks to the stupid "oh look! even a girl can dooooo eeet" vibe to this video, you can count on me not to ever, ever buy this product and to do my best to encourage others not to, either.

  • @gertie2u2 Some one a little testes?

  • @gertie2u2 Through fear of male chauvinism you've missed the point of the girl's age and that he said "you and your kids..." not soon after. Leave your hysteria at home, don't take it onto the internet also.

  • cat litter and various air fresheners are also made from chipped, light grey volcanic rock (zeolite, know for air conductivity). is this cat litter and wood chips?

  • Quem chegou aki pelo TecMundo dá jóinha

  • i think insta fire is just a ripoff, its wood pellets mixed with ordinary rocks, the ordinary rocks dont even burn, and it needs to be startted with a flame!and it wont burn wet wood,it just charred it,go back in the video and look at the wood.its better to have trioxane or esbit, i think you shouldnt buy this product, the stuff your looking for is weber cubes

  • Love this stuff, great product guys!

  • oh and dipping a block of dry wood in water is a little different from burning wet wood.

  • what about wind. i dont know where you live but in my parts there is always wind. this would scatter just by me blowing on it like a goddamn birchday cake. one gust and this stuff is gone. you showed wind after this stuff had already burned down, what about while trying to start. and that fan could not have been 40 mph, c'mon. i sail for a living. one might suggest building a barrier. easier said than done

  • Can it be lit with a spark type firestarter (ie...firesteel), or does it require a flame to ignite?

  • @upupaepops I would assume it COULD be lit with a firesteel. But I think doing it that way'd be more trouble than it's worth. I'd use this stuff as a way to keep a fire going, not to start it. But I've never messed with it, so this is just a big assumption. lol

  • @KiltPatrick Thanks, actually my question was answered in the positive, as I did see it being started that way in another video on the website. I assumed it would start with a firesteel, as the paraffin binders in there are very similar to wetfire, etc. Nice product by the way... I placed a couple of spoonfuls on the ground and was impressed by the very lengthy burn time.
