i hope the fuck there isnt porcupines this size runnin threw the woods! even if it is a porcupine which it obviously isnt, this would have to be a world record for size
@MiyakoMay1 Maybe it's a gorilla in a porcupine suit? Or a porcupine in a gorilla suit? I prefer a pinstripe suit. No vest. Just jacket and pants. Maybe a red tie. College stripe. I went to college. Univ. of Wallaballu. Studied Philosophy. That's where I wore my suit. The gorilla suit. And a tie. This one was gray. The tie was gray...with red paisley print. Very nice. My prof. was a porcupine. A porcupine in a gorilla suit. He thought David Hume was a horse. A horse in a man suit.
@seymourbbest WTF??? Can you not READ, this is not a BLOB. I plainly say I don't know what it is and leave it up to the viewer. If you can not make intelligent comments then keep them to yourself...
I think it could be something Simian in nature...hard to say for sure. Even in clearer shots posted elsewhere it still can't be 100% confirmed either way. Whatever it is or isn't, it doesn't appear to be moving at all (or at least not much). Could it be a toy/dummy/model? Assuming it is a real creature, maybe it is some kind of monkey or ape that has escaped from a nearby zoo or even a disguarded pet. My theory...it's possibly a baby Bigfoot type creature or an undiscovered form of Simian.
Porcupines definitely climb trees. If you find one sitting up high in the middle of winter and go back a week later, you just might see it sitting in the same tree with branches all over the ground from the mess they make while eating. You can see the quills on the head and back in this piece. I've run across them a few times and it's always difficult to get a good face shot.
Has anyone realized that the branch on which the creature is sitting is actually shredded from the middle, it seems like it as been bent and shredded to get something out from the in side, would this be normal porcupine behavior or could it be a juvenile BF searching for food in the bark?
I have seen many many porcupines.. This is just a big one that's all.. The people who took this video knew what it was.. You cannot mistake a porcupine in real life... and for the record I do believe in Bigfoot..
Except for the color this thing is huddled on the tree just like Ed's porcupine he saw last year. At :56 I can see the coarse hairs that typically stick up on a porcupines head.
It has to be a porcupine, its got a little tail, if it were a bigfoot, it would have ran or something, it wouldn't have just sat there. Bigfoots are huge beings, how can something of that size be sitting up in a tree, on a little branch. The branch or even the tree would break. And even if this had been a "child-like" bigfoot, I doubt it would have just stayed there. Big foots are elusive. But in a way, it does look like a monkey, that was my first impression.
I filmed the same thing last winter and saw the same thing recently. They will sit up in a tree for extended periods. The one I filmed sat in the same spot for over a month. It's a no brainer. Porcupine. It's about the size of a large raccoon...not 80 to 125lbs.
now how did he get the rear shot so leel up from behind about 3.25 on ? that is no 25lbs animal whatever it is
i thought possibly a young baby could be infront of the larger animal. is this thing actually looking left at camera at 4.42? i think there are 2 animals there and the small one is black
30lbs would be a record in north america for a porcupine. so would a length over 30inches. whatever that is certainly seems much bigger than that. that thing looks like it would be 4'5' feet erect and guessing 80lbs-125lbs
Well I was just saying usually you'd think they'd scurry off or something. I'm no animal expert, obviously lol, but i was just confused because if it is a Bigfoot then why would it just sit there in plain view? unless it couldn't get down quick enough or something. But I guess that makes sense, its standing perfectly still so it doesn't cause itself attention.
Regarding the large size, one video shows the tree before the zoom. It is a tall tree, and up that high may be only 6 inches in diameter, in which case the critter does not seem to large for a porcupine.
5:58 - 6:02 are the only two images in my opinion where the subject resembles the porcupine in such a way that I'd say it was a porcupine. Otherwise, in my opinion, the shoulders are just too broad and the arms are just to long and wide to be a porcupine. Bear? In my opinion, not a chance. Scott, this is an excellent analysis my friend. Glad you did this one.
this is very cool. It looks like its trying to keep still. I think its a very young bigfoot.

I'm going with a large porcupine. He appears to be facing the tree.

I think its a bear the head is the part closest to the tree not were everyone else is looking at you can make out the nose and eye
anyway its great footage!
herby375 1 year ago
That is odd, it almost looks like beaver, but I can't imagine why a beaver would be in a tree. Hmmmm. a wood chuck?

Bigfoot? So any blob on film can be a bigfoot now? Even a small blob up in a tree is a bigfoot? Can you say "desperation"?
