i think that if you played all the same songs, then yeah you could be almost as popular, but some people watch videos for the guitars. But one factor is that Pantera is more popular than Joe Satriani, even though i personally like Joe Satriani a lot better than Pantera (which i still love though, dont get me wrong)

PS i think you get better tone with this guitar than with the Dean....
