This movie made me so sad. When it was over I went across the street to knock on my friends door, for a bit of cheering up. Instead when they opened the door, I feel down on the ground and cried like baby. I'm a 19 year old guy.

I saw this at the store the other day, and wondered what it was about. The description on the back did absolutely nothing toward giving me even a basic description of what the movie was about. Based on the cover, my guess appears to be correct.  I'm going back to the store to get it today.

Me too! I went in to find something to watch and I'd heard it got great reviews, but I didn't know what it was about. The back said something about 'restoring faith in humanity' or something.. and the actor's names' ... Nothing on the plot. How annoying.

I bought this movie about 2 weeks ago, I am so mesmarized by the level of acting those 2 boys had to do. I have to say it is one of the finest jobs in acting by children I have seen in a long time.

@someoneud1dntno I understand what you mean but it wouldn't be your fault entirely as you would have been brainwashed. These things make me sick and makes my heart beat ten times faster when I think about the Muslims. I mean, Jews, then African Americans, now Muslims, soon someone else. @mrahman377 @mrahman377 Yeah, but the Jews and African Americans didn't have terrorist groups with a hundred thousand members. That is by no means a small extremist sect. They are not trying to gain there independence like Israel either. The fact of the matter is that a large percent of Muslims hate others for being different ( just like the Nazis) and for following a different religion. In fact there level of religious intolerance is something almost all other religions abolished a century ago.

The ending preety much the boy wants to find the jews dad so he digs and goes into the death camp and blends in with the jews and he ends up being sent to the Gas chamber and the German boys parents were like 5mins behind him . and he accidently got gassed with the jew boy .

i'm not sure how the movie really ends, but we got close to it in class, and like everyone was crying. and we have a german in class as well, she hates this, because she hates what happened and everything, and then we have one jew, so it was like. omg for the whole class. it's really good, i wish i knew how it ended though. :\

This movies is like the saddest thing i ever seen. i wish it didn't end up like this but it had to and we have no choice but not to be born until know. if i were back then in 1922 and felt both sides feelings there could be a better way for that. but i couldn't beleive the ending i just couldn't.
