Steve Bailey is not as bad as some people say. He has his own voice and that`s the most important thing for a bass player. Otherwise "The Bear" Wooten just hadn`t played with him all these fucking years!!!!!!!

Steve Bailey Does not suck in the least Bit. When two bass players are playing together they have to groove and accent each other well. Steve Bailey actually has some nice solid fingering techniques and harmonic techniques. I suggest you guys check out some of his solo vids.

i just checked the comments and i see there is only couple of real bass listeners here. Bailey is not boring. you guys just want to hear incredible things on instrument all the time and actually it happens all the time when Bailey playing but if you dont know any sh.t about how to listen, you'll be borry. so leave it! what you expecting ? flying bassists ?

They got same incredible groove since 1996 and dont forget this, if you playing with Victor you'll always look little bit sucks.
