I was 7 yrs old when I first cried, when the ingels moved from there home, to there little house on the praire.

NOW ... I am showing this series to my children, and I still cry watching this series ... thank god for technoligy (DVD).

Thank You studios for releasing it onto DVD.

Me too , i cry still , even i have seen all episodes many times :')) And Michael Landon so hansom and so sweet nice person in real he was it too , i love them all! everybody in this serie are wonderful personages, and all act very very very good, so real and natural! so fantastic good serie!

( very sad they blowed up the set, the filming location.. it was a nice place to go look for all the fans of little house on prairie!!

This was amazing! You know, I was born after Little House went off the air, but I'm still just as big a fan as anyone. Like Melissa Gilbert once said, this was really MY childhood too. Sometimes it's even a bit difficult for me to see the actors out of character because it becomes all too evident for me that it was only a show...not the real thing.

@24flowerpower I'm 15 but I have to agree with you. I like to watch old TV shows better then anything that plays on today. I told someone once that it seems like all thats on TV now a days is Love,Sex and drugs. It's sad to me because young kids are learning things by just watching TV that at there age should not be knowing.. I can say that if I ever have children I at least make sure that they watch Little House.

Leslie Landon played twice in Little House before being "Etta Plum". She played a little girl sick with fever in "Plague" (season 1), and later in "elections" (that's the photo I put in my video) where she was playing a pupil at school (Michael Landon Jr was playing a pupil too).

Oh yes you're so right !! I just come back from a trip in Los Angeles, and I had the extraordinary luck to visit the ranch where the show was filmed !! Despite the buildings are no longer there, everything else, the hills, the trees, is still there !! I even found the heart with Mary Ingalls's initials, carved on the "sweetheart tree" !!

you can find the song on itunes. type in little house on the prairie and when you click on albums you will see an album called something orchestra and it has this song. the album isnt called something orchestra, i just couldn't remember the name of the album. hope this hels

Yes, I found it on itunes, it is the theme music played by 101 strings orchestra. It is very close to the orchestrations used in the show.

Practicaly grew up on the reruns of this show on the German television (I received the German channels via satelite in my home country Latvia). Though I guess at first I understood very little what the characters were talking about in German I really fell in love with all of them. Now looking on the photos from the set just brings back so many wonderful memories and emotions connected to all those characters.
