I took 4 days off on a concert tour of Europe to visit Lourdes France. I saw the movie, Song of Bernadette as a child, and the memory of her story has always stayed with me. I was raised in a conservative Southern Methodist church who had an unspoken distance from all things Catholic, Saints, Miracles, intercession, . the days I spent at Lourdes, I'll never forget the feeling of joy and peace in that place. I brought some holy water back, and miraculous things happened in my life and others

Does everyone watching this realize that her face and hands are covered with a wax mask? She is decomposing, albeit very slowly. Just read the medical reports of Dr Talon's from when she was first examined. She is "stiff as a board" which rules her out as incorruptible. Yes she is decomposing slowly, which is interesting, and there are several theories as to why, but incorruptible? I don't think so.

to Ludsy2001....I went to Nevers, France and saw the body of St. Bernadette with my own two eyes and read many books about the apparitions at Lourdes. It IS the body of St. Bernadette and you are only partially right. The sisters merely coated her hands and face with wax so that it wouldn't darken, but St. Bernadette's body is incorrupt INSIDE and out. It is the most amazing example of an incorrupt body of a Saint.

@Yobidefy Her face and hands are not real. They are made of wax. The wax was put because the body was mummified and thought people was get upset if they saw that. The wax casting is in the history, but many people believe they are actually looking at a body that has not decomposed.
