To be fair, I can see why the cop was like that.

It's a large vehicle, with no insurance, no safety features and 4 passengers. What would happen if another vehicle hit them? You can't put it in a cycle lane, because it's too big.

Now before everyone jumps on me, consider this. Would you still feel the same way if this thing caused an accident involving your car, your wife/husband, your child? You couldn't get an insurance claim.

I got fined 80 bucks when i would ride my bike on the side walk, cops would tell me to ride on the road and use proper hand signals. The cop who fined them is in the wrong for sure, watching this video makes me laugh at how desperate the police are to fine people these days.

I live in B.C. Canada and as far as i know the laws in B.C. are the same as the laws in Toronto Ontario. I think that cop should be forced to learn his city by-laws again.

I think you only see dimensions of this monstrosity but it is only hollow shell of Car. There is most probably next to nothing normal car need to operate... no motor, no battery(at least no big battery), no transmission(asside of those shimano transmission), no gas tank, no floor no rear glass(only front (which could be of plexiglass) and maybe glass inside doors).

Handbrakes are good for stopping a car from rolling down a slope, but terrible for braking once you're moving. They also work on rear wheels only - again, bad, since a braking vehicle shifts all weight to the front wheels and the back just ends up dragging with little resistance. no matter how you look at it, this thing IS dangerous.

handbrakes operates through drum brakes. And they are quite strong. But I didnt saw that think They could be also mechanicaly operated disk brakes as found on bicycles. You have also to see how long is the wheel base and how is the weight distributed. As I see that It is no significantly different from tandem bike. If something, it safer than tandem bike... you can see this also as double tandem bike ;)

But. The debt of the nation is carried by issued bonds. When they owe someone money, they issue new bonds (annually) in order to compensate for the lost money. This is called issued debt.

While you are correct that the government is borrowing substantial amounts of money from China, the country is not "broke". When a country is broke, they go bankrupt.

The U.S. is nowhere near bankruptcy and the printing of money is simply inflation...not hyper inflation. If you are going to argue the government, you need to understand that the money is being printed for stimulus. Stimulus is temporary. It is an investment. It all comes back later

Yeah! jmar1371 is thinking the same as I was! In Queensland (and New South Wales) as long as the vehicle is under 50cc's and also under a certain horsepower, it's not required to be registered. That's why so many of those little scooters are popping up everywhere.
