Those returns could be better those players seem to be waiting for the ball so there momentum is lost they really should just getting forward right before contact

Is it just me or do the players demonstrating the split step seem to have an exorbitant amount of time while "reacting" to the serve?

I have to agree here, the principles being taught here are sound, but honestly when do you have that much time to hit a 1st serve (a slow secone maybe)?
