  • You are so angry but you don't care about the people would were killed is the explosion that cause all of this. Do you?

  • @silkmann WTF? I have been writing and reminding people that 11 men died in this explosion!

  • Greta, would you call yourself an enviromentalist? Do you belive that Corporations like BP are plundering the earth, for quick profit without much care to humans or animals in the area? Do you believe in Climate Change, Peak Oil?

Or is this one of those "Not in my back yard things" that like most on the Right don't care what Corporations do in poor countrys just don't shit in my yard.

Well Greta, what do you say to that since BP took a Big Dump in your Back Yard?

  • @valhala56 You seem to be a black and white judge of how someone on the "right" takes the environment into consideration.

  • @RightPunditsMedia Funny how conservatives who tend to "Black or White" about issues is pinning that phrase on a lefty. The reality is that the only "Environmentaly concious" Conservative are now suddenly on the Gulf Coast. Before this Diaster the Right Riducluled Al Gore & his inconvient Truth, You riduculed President Carter who tried to get us off Fossil Fuels 30 years ago. You wanted deruglation, unfettered Corportism & Capitalism. You wanted your Oil, now you got it.

  • @dcbama3209 - its not about 'drill baby drill' - its about WHERE we drill. The deep-water drilling wouldn't be such a problem if we could drill in shallower water. Instead, the environmentalist forced the drilled in deep water. If this had happened in shallower water it would be much less complicated to fix.

  • @bluestarchronicles EXACTLY!!!!

  • @bluestarchronicles - I'm right there with you. BP originally requested to drill in 500 ft of water. It was the MMS that told them to drill in 5000. I believe that the spill would have NEVER occurred if BP was allowed to drill in 500 ft.

  • @bluestarchronicles That's not true, recent reports of over 2500 abandoned wells in shallow water of the Gulf of Mexico. Most are not permantly sealed.

Yeah your right it is about where we drill, and reality is that BP would not spend $500,000 a day to drill in deep water if there was anyplace on land or shallow water to get the Oil.

It is right wing lie that enviromentalist forced this. But keep telling yourself lies, the truth is out there.

  • This is sad. If we were allowed to drill in ANWAR for example, we would not be drilling in 5000+ feet of water, and would not be in the mess we're in.

And for the trolls here who insist on posting pointless "snipes" at Greta or anyone who doesn't agree with their "from their Mom's basement window worldview", it's CONGRATULATIONS not conradulation.

  • I've watched several of your videos now and while I wanted to say alot of really mean things, I will refrain. In one you wanted answers, another you attack Obama for no reason. The limmit of space makes it impossible to do any justice to meaningful discourse. Princess, you take 10 min out of your busy life and watch the vidoe posted of: Terence McKenna - Business as usual is not on the Menu (now 18 years ago). Wise words, totally ignored and now you and everyone will live/die with the result.

  • @Bezz80 What is your drug of choice? With this response, I assume you are taking some!

  • @RightPunditsMedia Wow, I must be taking drugs? Way to back peddle on your response to the drill baby drill coment reply, before it was, "at least not in deep-water", now its "yes!". Some Ego you've got there, going to stand your ground to the bitter end, never wrong. I'll have what you're smoking, I guess.

  • @Bezz80 Actually it has been a tough emotional week for me if you must know. Having oil in your backyard is very disheartening. I regrettably deleted a comment I made which is something I have never done. No, I have admittedly been wishy washy this week regarding my thoughts on deep water drilling, but I think I am back on track. Thanks for being so sympathetic!

  • @RightPunditsMedia Actually, I am very sympathetic. It's not just a "we told you so". Rather, that something, if not this, must bring us together. And standing frim on the "business as usual" platform isn't going to work, its how we got here. Bashing one side or the other for the problems we confront (you much closer at hand than I) cannot be the answer, which is why I treid really hard not to, as I mentioned. For you, the time has not yet come, so I will just wish for you the best.

  • @Bezz80 I did not bash anyone in this video nor do I bash very much at all. I am more a personal principal and fact driven person.

  • And the fear monger of the year award goes to Greta Perry, congradulation you just won a trip to shyt ball city enjoy your mud!!!!

  • @dcbama3209 Biting lip to refrain from nasty reply:)

  • @RightPunditsMedia Do you!!! Lets Go!!!!

  • @dcbama3209 I am a nice person, that is not how I roll. But congrats for making my facebook comment of the day - typos and all:)

  • Still saying "drill baby drill" Gretta?

  • @Markmeblablabla Unfortunately yes!

  • Awesome video Greta...thanks for sharing.

  • I enjoy your "positive" videos. I haven't seen all of your videos yet (smiling). Why now show concerned about the lake, and pollution from possible oil damage? Today the bordering parishes (STP) on the lake allows businesses and subdivisions with thousands of homes dumping raw sewerage into the lake for decades, possibly causing those "dead zones". Oil has been polluting wetlands from natural causes for thousands of years. So allowing the dumping of raw sewerage in the lake isn't as cynical ?.

  • I am so sorry, Greta. You have no idea how badly I feel for everyone who live near the Gulf & earn their living from it. The photos of the animals break my heart but I know that this is something that the fishermen and shrimpers will have to live with for generations.

My family spent every summer on Manasota Key. The oil hasn't made it there yet but when it does I know it will break my heart. You're right, it's very hard to find anything positive in this.

  • Incredibly sad....I would be crying non-stop if I had to see this daily :-(

  • The damage this oil gusher is doing is nothing short of criminal. It makes me angry that the American people are moving our focus onto other things.

I'm afraid we won't be able to ignore this disaster of historic proportions for very long ....

  • yea that water looks really nasty and dirty. stay positive though, good to see people who are always trying to spread the right message.

  • @BREAKTHECODE2222009 The water is very clean where I was standing.
