It is dwelling in the past and worrying about the future that covers it up. Think about it.

Also, ask yourself: what if I'd always be happy?

Then there wouldn't be anything special about it. You can't be happy without being unhappy at times. And then, when you feel unhappy, you can already feel happy because you know that happiness is on the way again.
