They really did create some of the best music ever. McCluskey and Humphreys are very very talented guys and have originality about their music. I think early OMD tracks like elecetricity & enola gay sound like all the best parts of Kfraftwerk & Joy Division combined. I like those two groups a lot, so that say's an awful lot about OMD.
