  • Timbo - this is the one that mother sang other than the first one i posted to. He loved cracker jacks! We love and miss you Timbo.

  • If this is Jim, his voice got much higher.

  • @daffydoug No doubt, this IS Jim R.

  • @SPENNA99 OK. I was just taken aback by the fact that his rich, deep baritone wasn't evident in this tune. He must have gotten better over the years.

  • @daffydoug Very possible, many of his well known songs are into the 60's this one is from 1954

  • @SPENNA99 That explains it! He indeed did get better in his vocal chords as time went on!

  • im 38 and played this when i was 5 over and over and over and over again so for 33 years bimbo has been my nickname and thats all i get called i fell very lucky

  • Jim Reeves was the best and so is this song. *****

  • I only have 4 things to say:

    Excellent pictures

    Excellent song

    Excellent video

    5 stars from me :-)

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it

  • That was one of my favorite songs to dance and sing to when I was a kid. There's a home movie we have where I'm dancing around the living room with my Pinocchio doll--and, likely, to that song. Aunt Jenny and my cousins, Carolyn & Jimmy are sitting on the loveseat in front of the fireplace clapping and singing, and my mom is following me around with a comb to do my hair. My dad's behind the camera. Home movie not a talkie back then, but, from what I know I'm quite sure the song is Bimbo.
