That string around his neck is just typical for the teen fashion of 90's. It was kinda a jewellery at those times. We were all wearing something like that too. I was only like 3 years younger then Claire when it was on TV. Memories. Big rings, long skirts, jeans with holes, old sweaters... and the music! Nirvana, "young" The Cranberries, Alanis, Coolio. Those were the days *tear* Someone built the wehicle of time, please. I miss that atmosphere, I want to feel it again.
