I really want to see an all-star where they return to the original all-star format: 3 tribes of 6 with no idols. I think the best players would win in that situation and people who have only survived by idols would be forced to rethink their games.

Russell has a huge unfair advantage over all the other players. HvsV began filming as soon as Samoa wrapped. When they all met for HvsV everyone was familiar with everyone else from previous seasons, except for Russell. Samoa hadn't aired yet, so no one knew just how sneaky and conniving Russell really is. If they had all seen Russell in action I'm sure BR wouldn't have taken him so lightly, and would still be in the game. I just wish he could have lasted long enough to be on the jury.

@Love4UsAll49 you could say the same thing for boston rob in the all star season. he didn't even make the jury in marquaesas so people didn't even know how he plays. all anyone knew of him was that he had a really strong accent and that he's cocky.

But at least in this season they probably all know he was a very good player to be picked for this season, and they know that he is evil because he's on the villian tribe.

@thegov08 The point I am making is that no matter who played with who previously, everyone, including Russell, had a chance to watch everyone else on TV on earlier seasons, except for Russell because his season hadn't aired yet, so no one had ever seen him before HvsV. He is the only one who has the advantage of being completely unknown to everyone

Yeah people had seen him in Marquesas but he didn't even really get a chance to see his strategy because he got voted out before the jury. The only reason he was picked to be an All star because they needed a cocky, loudmouth guy to make the season more interesting.

The biggest advantage that Russell has over Rob this season, is that nobody knows how Russell plays. Rob is an automatic target because everyone knows he's a threat. Russell isn't.

@NYRx0h Maybe. I respect the aggressive strategic players the most, so I like both Rob & Russell. Rob Cesternino (Amazon, All Stars) is another favourite of mine. The trouble with the aggressive strategic players is that they tend to take out each other from the get go! I can't see anybody "coat tailing" and winning this Surivor Season. Unlike Natalie (Samoa) or Veecepia (Marquesas)

@NYRx0h I've gone from liking James, to loathing him. He's turned from a humble man, to a 'big shot' with a huge ego and a great sense of entitlement. The way he spoke to Stephanie was disgusting. And the way he blames this on CBS editing him just goes to show he doesn't take responsibility for anything. James is an idiot.

These teams aren't really set up good.
