they have a ton of gold chain at places like ace hardware or home depot or lowes or something that isnt crazy big. I used the back of a plastic keychain as the plastic of my necklace and just spray painted it the color i wanted and i found anchor charms at michaels. hope this helps :D

Instead of applying it straight from the bottle to the back of the anchor... wouldn't it be easier to take an old small paint brush that you'll never use again, squirt some glue on a piece of paper and go from there? That way you would have less goopy excess to clean off and would prevent alot of the mess. =]

FOR THE PLASTIC Go to your hardware store find a random plastic thing it doesnt have to be small, and go to the hardware place and have them cut it for you!! Go to your local hadware, mine is a little one in my small town so I dont think itd be the same as yours so try out home depot, lowes.. for example i just found a cutting board a plastic one and theres so many diff colors im just gonna take it down there and have them cut it for me and make these necklaces for me and friends!! Good luck!

I got plastic at a local hardware store and it was for some garden thing but i had the guy cut it into the square size i wnated, i used my dads dermal tool thing, i couldnt find an anchor but i did find a star at michaels so i used that, chain was there too!! I love it, its so cute!! Kandee you should make rings and show us how!!! I love your ideas!

To prevent the cap from sticking on put Vaseline on the threads before you put the cap back on. This also works for superglue tubes and bottles.
