I as a trainee "Shrink" would REALLY like to see how one cold "work" on someone and then putting someone in a psychosis. Drug's although could POSSIBLY do this but it would require regular doseage. But he would be trained to resist Hypnosis and to identify if his food and or drink being comprimisedand. He as a trained MI5 officer would identify if he was being followed or if attempts were to be made on his life.

It is just common sense. Shayler was in good shape psychologically, and then suddenly after he began speaking of NPT he declares himself the messiah. The sudden change in his mental state follows immediately after several sessions he had with a "psychic". It's all just a little too pat.

They began by drugging his food and drink, and then they had a hypnotist/shrink, masquerading as a psychic, do some "work" on him.
