Im interested for testing few months of WaR and done some research and ended up choosing Squig herder...now my problem is that im used to have really clear websites which tell "class" skills and specialiations (current wow player) but i didnt get good viewn from your link....are you aware for websites whit huge info amount from classes? if you do ill prob join one day for few months of WaR

Squig Herders are kind of like Hunters from WoW. I guess you would consider SHs a really badass ranged Hunter and White Lions a really badass melee Hunter.

They are two very different alts.

The squig herder packs in a lot of damage but has a very low survivability rate. The shaman doesn't pack a very good punch but has a lot of resilience with his heals. If you play mostly solo, I would suggest the squig herder because shaman's can't do much in RvR unless they have a decent group around them.

how are squig herders in PvP?

I have one atm, who has been in pvp from tier 1-3. Tier 1 is the hardest, since bright wizards rape T1 and since SH suck in t1, due to the fact of plink being a 2s cast and our the other ablities we have in t1 arent good.

In T2, we become one of the more better RVR classes. The only thing that beats us is a ironbreaker/swordmaster. T3 it all becomes even, but you get the upperhand with 1s plinks.

Highest level in this game is 40, but there's something called "Renown Rank" too, which you get for doing RvR. The highest is 80, so 40, and 80.

Gas Squig - You get this squig at rank 9. It has ranged attacks (farther than the Spiked Squig), is weak against all forms of attacks, has two AoE abilities (random stat debuff and direct damage), and it gives you a 10% bonus to maximum range while alive. This pet is your best choice when specializing in Path of Big Shootin'.

Only one at a time but some of your squig consuming abilities like "Farty Squig" (makes your squig blow up doing AoE damage) and "Tastes Like Chicken" (you eat your squig for HP) allow you to instantly summon another one at no cost.

Medium armour no matter what path you spec. Almost all the items in this game are career specific, except the very basic stuff.

Squig Armor is a level 25 buff.

Your squigs level up with you. They don't evolve per say, but their strength and defense increases proportionately with your levels.

U get the first squig in lvl 1 , then u get the other squigs in witch way you would like 2 play (around lvl 5-11 or so ). If u spec on Path of stabbin' you will get the horned squig witch does the 2nd best dmg,also gives u 100% armor so u get from light 2 med armor. Path of quick shootin' gives u the spiky squig, that does most dmg and gives u 5% crit rate. And the path of Big Shootin' gives u gas squig that gives u around 10% more Range, does the next lowest dmg, but can AoE and Dots i think

Horned squig = better for melee

Gas squig = better for long range

Spiked squig = better for medium range

Normal squig = better for tanking

Here's what I found on Warhammer Alliance:

"From a purely theme standpoint it's a fun ability, you turn into a giant squig like 3 times the size of your other squigs. Chasing down an elf in it while they try to run away.. you'll be laughing maniacally.

As for the hard numbers, it was pretty weak in defense with a low duration and long cooldown, but they'll look at abilities that under-perform so don't decide on it until closer to release."

That was terrible. Could they be any more lazy with the animations? When Paul originally described it he depicted the Squig eating the goblin and the goblin pulling the squig's guts. What a bunch of bullshit.
