The AUG is different to the Standard Steyr because the ADF has specific criteria for their weapons. It is not superior to standard design, just different. These differences include: a 1.5x scope, quick release barrel for ease of change and access, clear magazines, and a laser deginator fitting point. (lasers are standard issue for all ADF infantry.)
