Mi stava antipatico ma devo dire che è stato un grande campione e che ha sofferto molto! Adesso lo apprezzo! Sfortunato, anche come in questo caso, contro la tecnonolgia del ciclismo: infatti perde questo Tour, alla cronometro dell'ultimo giorno, per 8 secondi contro Lemond che aveva già adottato un manubrio speciale, con una posizione avveneristica, che nella galleria del vento aveva dimostrato faceva guadagnare secondi!
