Yes, I had a script & sheet music. I typed out the spoken words, and I wrote down the music on staff paper.

I think I got an A, if I remember correctly.

Actually, the day after I gave the presentation, the professor asked me if he could tape it. (So this recording is a repeat performance; hence, the reason I'm not dressed more formally.) For a couple of years, they showed the classes this video as an example of how to do the assignment. I'm not sure if they're still using it or not.

I don't remember exactly... It originally had more drumming in it, but I had to chop some of it out for time. I recall that I was cutting it fairly close, so it was probably 3.5 to 4 minutes.

Yeah, that's true--the snare drum isn't utilized very much here. I've performed this solo/story elsewhere, and I did use the actual snare drum (minus the practice pad) with someone else narrating with a microphone. Since I had to do both the drumming and narration here, the drum would have drowned out my voice, so I had to go with a practice pad to keep it from being overwhelming. Thanks for the comments.
