Nice video ! Kids need to learn and I can't think of anything better to learn to drive then a vintage car. It teaches the basics of machines in general plus the history surrounding thier development and on top of that its fun !!! I would have given anything to have the chance to learn on a Model "A" back in the day ! As to the negative comments posted here, I dare you to say you did'nt make some mistakes when you were learning to drive when you were a kid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@1931fordmodela The primary purpose of this car is to teach this kid to drive. So if he blows the engine or wrecks it well then I am cool with it, the engine is tough and I very much doubt that it would blow by what is seen in the video. This Model A was frozen and wouldnt turn over when we got it, its original and not restored. Its just a car and we are both learning together. Now go back to film school and contine your perpetual adolescence.
@videoaddict2008- thanks for the concern, but i was 12 at the time and a month later I had the double clutching down. And I learned almost everything about the car over the following summer. So thanks again for soooo much concern about me killing the car.
good driver BUT the car is an old gal i dont like the way he shifts the gears no pause between gears no double clutching. youre going to kill the car if he continues driving it that way.
@videoaddict2008 Model A's are very forgiving, and i think since there are a lot still around, so I think that it can take a lot, and there are cars now that don't even last ten years...... and have you even driven a Model A?
What, no seat belts? No air bag? I also learned to drive on a Model A at this age, so this brought back some memories. There's nothing like the sound of that engine. Thanks for posting!
Bitterman is my teachers last name. Hmm. Wierd. But I think that is really cool that you can drive a Model A! I heard for some people it was IMPOSSIBLE!
He's better at manual than me!

To look at him more 13 years. And his voice was like 13 years. Either the video was shot for less than 3 months to 13 years.

I really don't understand why the driving age isn't 12... 12 and 13 year olds are way easier to boss around than 18 year olds!

This is pretty cool. Lol at 1:09. "What the hell?" The kid does a great job of driving a vehicle made 85+ years before he was born.
