subwoofer merely means "below woofer". Ideally the woofer goes down to about 40 hz at wich point the subwoofer takes over.

iffprove, so my Logitech Z-5500 subwoofer is a midwoofer? It goes down to 33hz. 188 watts rms. Low band pass. My Logitech X-540 isn't low band. You can hear some of the lyrics but my Z-5500 can't.
